... food, a little wine and chit chat, but we are all knackered after our body surfing today. Rather than go to bed straight away we go back to the nearby beach to watch the stars and to also see if we can see a belt of shooting stars that are due overhead tonight, it's a little cloudy but we can see some, and lie on the beach for 40 mins taking it all in, a very special time. But...will sleep well ...
... the river, you could see this morning sea mist sitting over the river, very atmospheric. Back home and all in, that was a 9km round trip and a lovely start to the day. We have a breakfast, coffee, croissants, cereal and jam, then get some sandwiches made up and off we go on the bikes this time, back to the Plage du villion it's a pretty beach, with a steep top portion to the beach, then it shelves out quite shallow for a long way out. ...

We get the swimmers from the bikes, find a spot and have a lovely time on the beach, swimming, playing ball and mucking about, but then we do need to head back,straight back this time, I take the older kids, the boys get back in under 30mins, the girls and me at 31, then the others with young Dan, 25 mins later. In the pol for a quick swim, then dinner at Chez Mitton again, kebabs tonight, with some salad ...
... arrived at the Yelloh campsite at 4pm, booked in easy enough and found our lodge. It's in a wooded area with pine trees overhead, we have two bed rooms, a lounge and kitchen area a nice deck outside too with a table on it. After Andy had walked to the patisserie and bought today's bread (his turn!) fried up a few slices of much coveted bacon, we decided today would be the day we would cycle to Les Sables D'Olonne a mere 26 km away!!!!
