From beautiful Brugge we drove south west to Ypres. Along the way we stopped at some of the war memorials to the fallen soldiers. All this area is part of Flanders. We walked through the Bunker rather quickly as it was absolutely freezing. after visiting the museum (which we didn't spend long at) we kept on driving ...

We're to leave with the ferry to Dover at 12:00 noon......at least we thought so. Everything is ready.....we thought. Just hop on the ferry and over to Dover we go.....that was the initial plan, but then we ran into trouble: There was an evil witch at the counter of the ferry office just looking for her next victims to add to her long list of casualties! Just think of this - We had the doggies papers all ready, they got all the vaccinations nessecary, ...
