... proper moving wheels. Just as well as the bus only takes us part of the way. We then have about a 300m walk including uphill, through a very narrow cobblestone street dodging other tourists. Now that we're back carrying our own luggage, I'm very pleased that I packed light. Our hotel is very cute and tiny. One of those where you have to go outside to change your mind ;). Well kitted out though. We head out to explore the 'rock' and the ...

I'm writing this from Mont St Michel on Saturday. Our final riding day was yesterday and the weather gods really turned it on; it was a lovely day. ... Today, €8 gets you entry and the chance to wander around this historic place.Tuesday we headed further north (by north-west), up to Dinan. As is the case with virtually every village / town along this coast, there is significant history and age old structures to see. Whether it is a fortress (as in the case of Fougeres), or a chateau, or an old town centre that dates back hundreds of years. Dinan has the medieval town centre and we were able to spend most of ...

... no official services here). Another walk into Les Pieux, more swimming, castle building, and beach walks. We returned to Les Pieux in the morning and found a Lidl, before going to the campervan service point at the Intermarche supermarket. We walked up to the tourist office which was in the middle of the market day. We then went another 10km up the peninsular to the beach at Siouville Hague. The Aire was in a big field a block back from another nice long beach. Another cruisy ...
