... is up against some heavy competition after Tahiti, the Great Barrier Reef and the Maldives. Escapade was a bit underwhelming, but we did make friends with a large sea turtle that wasn't intimidated by us at all. After a couple hours, we head back to the ship for a late lunch. ... heading is a straight line to Sydney. We should be 200 nautical miles south of the cyclone tomorrow and should see no effects from the storm. We spent the afternoon lounging around the pool. With the ship's rocking motion, the pool was like a wave pool which made it fun to swim in this afternoon.
