    took the Brittany ferry overnight from Cork, Ireland overnight to Roscoff, France . Fascinating seaside town . Gothic architecture early 16th century. Rainy day but we didn't mind it. Tonight we are in Saint Carreuc
    at a quaint B&B . Another 5 star rating.

    ... IKEA on our holidays! We arrived at Ploumanac'h at around 1pm. It is a very charming seaside town that reminded John very much of the Cornish towns that he used to visit as a child. It was also nice and quiet as we are visiting off-season, with the French having different half term dates.     ... Liz began to suffer from a bad back, so the girls and I packed sandwiches, fruit, and breton cakes….and headed for the beautiful Sables Blancs, just around the headland. It was getting genuinely hot, but we had forgotten our swimmies, so had to content ourselves with the FRISBEE!
