Saumur - last stay before Paris

... first day of rain, (probably since Edinburgh!), so we only had short walk in town before back to the hotel to read and for me to write this travel blog.
Tomorrow we take the big highways and some toll roads towards Paris. First to Orly Airport to drop the car off, then into the heart of Paris to the apartment which will our home for a few days.

... did not have the correct connector for a water tap. So we went to a garden centre and stocked up on connectors and hose ends. We used the last one to connect our clear pipe to our blue pipe to reach a tap, so we need to replace that. And Sue gave us rillettes d'oel and I wanted to get some to take with us. Hugely misty this morning. Getting out of Nantes was a bit of a nightmare as Snooper froze again. I suppose that she wasn't getting a good gps signal with all the trees. We arrived into Angers and found our hotel (L'Hotel de France) quite easily. The room we were provided was quite small so we decided to spend a few more Euros and upgrade to the suite, which was a wise decision. Dinner was at a square next to the cathedral, the food was good and we learned that if we want a 'normal' salad without any meat or large chucks of cheese we have to order the 'vegetarian salad'.
