Almost a week
... she speaks no English..one day we had a hard time figuring out if i wanted another trash bag...she went and got a brother to tell him so he could translate..but we see each other every day...so today..she comes up to me..i can tell she is thinking..then she says i like to see you work in perfect English..she must have been practice all day..great Steve is back it with diner, more stew..i hate stew, unless my granny makes ...
A brilliant day with Aiuka's family

And then finally, I met Aiuka's father who reminds me so much of my uncle Pedro. Strong, hard-working, hospitable; he only stopped to talk for a little while. This is a busy man who never stops.
