    A nice campground after a 4 hour drive through Montreal - mostly easy driving, which is good, because we didn't know how much twisty, windy, up and down we would face the next day on "La Route des Sommets", and after crossing the border into Maine!

    ... and Louise Penny spots. The trip involved numerous small towns with motorcycle groups and bike groups on gorgeous country roads. But all were very respectful and so it was easy driving. We made it to Frelighsburg, which had the art exhibit of the characters and also has three large pines. It was only 3 1/2 miles from the Vermont border.
