    Lovely place to stay

    Room was comfortable, clean with a private balcony. Staff were friendly & helpful. Dinner was delicious and breakfast was good.

    ... mainly selling fruit, vegetables, flowers and cheese. All local produce and for locals. No tourist rubbish or (that I saw) other goods. We had a good mooch about and also went into some of the delis and food stores that are in this part of town.

    ... on time after all that and got the train straight from the airport station to Lausanne. About 40 minutes through some lovely vineyard hills and along the lakeside. We were met at the railway station by the lovely Veronique from the Lausanne Tourist Agency. She took us to our hotel: the beautiful and rather posh Chateau D'Ouchy, and we checked in.     Today I got picked up from the hotel by Carole, the sister I will be staying with on the weekends while I'm in Cluses.
