We ended up getting to the hotel at about 8 PM, so didn't have time to go back into town for dinner and to see the city. It was a bit of a bugger considering we won't have time tomorrow as we are at CERN all day. Instead, we went next door to a nice Italian place. I had an awesome risotto, and many of the others got other fantastic looking pasta dishes and pizzas.

The grounds of the museum are simply amazing. You wind up a walkway that has a symbolic relationship to the Olympic distance of a marathon. The flora and fauna had me drooling over the different flowers and types of grass they had growing. As you ascended the walk way - you could see the view of Lake Geneva - just amazing. Beautiful boats, yachts, impeccable hotels and associated grounds speckle and sprawl beyond the main road ...
... Angela wowed us with fresh pizza. Mmmmm…felt like we were in a 5 star restaurant. Now that we knew where to get wine, we were on "sommelier duty" and she was the chef du jour! Once again she had us entranced with her European adventure stories, and had me making a mental note about all the Italian villages that we absolutely needed to visit.
Ahhh…I love "restaurant" nights!

... our feet in Le Lac. After Yvoire, we picked up some things from the supermarket and then Carole dropped me off at Camille's apartment. Camille is also in the St. Julien English congregation along with Carole and her husband, Arnaud. I will be staying with Camille during the week. It's great because she lives walking distance from the Swiss border so it will be fairly easy to be do some exploring around Geneva in the coming days. Bonne ...
