... disease, not dissimilar to the British or Australian man-flu. I have had a severe case all week and I have tried gamely to carry on but to be honest I have been fairly unsuccessful. Luckily the amazing Jessica has been covering all my slack as well as carrying on with all her own stuff. Not unlike women the world over I suppose. In completely unrelated news I have set myself a challenge for this new month of ...

Its funny that there must be loads of towns or villages in France that are completely seasonal, last week we noticed it in the south that the beach resorts were closed for the summer and ...

... little English spoken but we did ok understanding the menu. Phil had his favourite, an entrecôte steak and I had duck breast both delicious and full of garlic. This was followed by profiteroles to share, my favourite. Oh yes and for good measure, a bottle!!! of very nice white wine. Tomorrow it's off to the coiffure for Tess, followed by a trip to a dealers, should be interesting! as they do not speak any English. So no more loitering outside the TIC to upload the ...

Last day on this lovely site. Went for a last coffee in Labastide and filled up with diesel for the journey north.

Meal in the restaurant in the evening and once again it was lovely. Owners and all the staff are very friendly. Lovely way to end our stay here. Looking forward to coming back next year.
