In the field behind the memorial is where so many of that company lost their lives fighting off the Germans. It was somber and moving, but the field was covered in snow and was very beautiful.       Which is probably what the locals and other visitors thought as about a hundred Aggies descended on the small town of Bastogne, Belgium. Bastogne is a town that really promotes it's historical heritage.
