        ... the Second World War as a reminder of subsequent strife.

        We travel across to Péronne, another German occupied town liberated in 1918 by Australian troops. Alas, we arrive between 12 and 2pm so everything is closed...

        This leaves us with no choice other than to eat lunch, drink coffee and window shop!
        And again, we are amazed that a town about the size of Castlemaine or Sale has FIVE optometrists to explore.

        ... where we could look out from. Next we did the Mad hatters Tea cups which is a must do at Disneyland. We all loved it. We followed this by two boat cruises through It's a Small World and also Fairytale Land which was fairytales that we didn't really know. After this we had a very big, flash and yummy buffet lunch. Marjolaine dropped me at the Dallas airport about 1:00 pm so I could catch my 2:30 flight to Atlanta, where after a two-hour layover I caught the Air France flight to Paris.
