    ... and hold the bones of millions of people whose graves had to be relocated in the 1800's. The bones are all neatly stacked and have a layer of skulls in between. The tunnels were really dank and had mini stalagmites forming on the ceiling. Cool.....and creepy. The last day we had big plans to walk to the Eiffel Tower but it started pouring so we did what any good American would do: we went and saw the latest blockbuster, Mad Max at the movie ...

    ... helped me out. They came around with a roll and coffee and we thought bonus as we thought we had to buy our lunch, 1st class is the way to go..... Then after Brussels we got lunch, Alf had some yucky looking fish that was supposed to be mine as that was all he was offering, then when he went to give Alf his he said no more fish so we swapped and I had a pasta salad.....and the most amazing chocolate mousse cake.     ... to Sacre Coeur after climbing to the top of the arch earlier. I think this was suitably balanced with a highlight for Bridget seeing a cat, but a little bitter sweet knowing it was without a home most likely. We spent time at the church, admiring the very ornate interior, and taking in the picturesque views of the city skyline from the hilltop vantage point.     ... undergoing a major refurbishment when we were there last (ten years ago), and we were unable to get a proper look at it. It was good finally to see it in all its glory. Mary was quite overcome by the experience, having been so disappointed last time.
