Walked back across the river to catch the boat, which continued further down the Seine before turning to head back down the river, beautiful scenery along the way, hopped off on the Louvre side walked across the bridge , turned left to cross at next Street & home for a drink of water & much needed cup of tea.       ... the Cite of l'Architectecture. Interestingly the tour didn't drive past the Eiffel Tower, as the parklands adjacent that were barricaded off yesterday, had a marathon being held. We looked at the beautiful architecture of the range of townhouses with sculptures, the Musee de L'Armee and the adjacent Hotel des Invalides (we nearly booked in) and then the beautiful Opera House and Grand Palais.       ... to drive up to the church at Montmartre and saw amazing artists do their thing, Ra you would be in heaven here....you will not want to leave you know.

      I learned how to protect yourself from con artists as they have targetted me 4 times!!! Good thing I had people around me who knew what to look for....and that, is a discussion for another time..hehehehe

      ... could ascend. This seems to be the case everywhere in Europe now....for future reference it is better to purchase tickets on line prior to coming over so you can skip the line! Surprise was the church next to it. Like most Italian churches, paintings and stone work adorn the structure. Part of the structure contains a domed enclosure.
