    The fright of my life!

    ... bat which gave me the fright of my life. I ran all the way back to the table leaving my drink there.

    Then we managed to safely get the bird out back home to its mother. Then we watched the Men's Grand Wimbledon Finale. It was Federer Vs Djokovic. We wanted Federer to win but sadly Djokovic won.

    Then we had haircuts.

    Then I did more homework and went out to play soccer with Olli and Dad, then came in for tea.

    ... the pool and played on some of the water toys.

    We came home had relaxation time and went to bed. Dad and I watched the Tour de France highlights and went to bed. Art stayed up with Mum and watched Harry Potter until really late.

    We also did a tour de Pouzolles run as a family this morning.

    ... were no swimmers and no sunbathers, just people strolling. Craig had been wanting to have a wee for sometime and found a place behind a sand dune but heard voices and stopped. We could not find a public toilet that was open so stopped at a cafe/bar to buy a drink to use the loo. It was about 5pm by now and we decided to stay the night. We used the cafe wifi to search for accommodation but ended up driving around trying to find a place that was open. ...

After leaving Capestang, we headed SE and on the recommendation of a very reliable source - a guy we'd just met for 10mins on one of the canal-boats, we decided to aim for Poihls, apparently a cute little village on the canal and not far away. The photographs we took of the landscape look totally fake. The panoramic views are highlighted by the lovely thick pine forests, hills of tall cypress trees and lush green mountains.
