    Awoke to a very bright beautiful pale blue light, what you might imagine to be a painters light and the sun sent a golden beam across the water of the lagoon. There were two men fishing with rods in the middle of the water, which at first sight did not seem unusual, until we realised they were standing!! This makes the water about 3/4 feet deep.     ... The lady behind the bar said 2? so of course we said yes 1 each. We realised why she asked when they arrived, I ended up putting half of mine in a doggy bag, there were 4 different salamis, chorizo, pancetta, 2 different cheeses and sobrasada on bread, plus olives and onions! and all this for £7.00 each!!!     ... and band. Our barmaid tells us it is local football club dinner of some sort.manage to get a seat in beer garden and listen to a medly of Elvis songs- just what you expect to hear in the square of a medieval village in Provence. We reluctantly take leave for an early night as we want to leave for the Alps very early to try to avoid a trip like last Saturday. We are told by locals that tomorrow is second busiest day of year on French roads, after last Saturday that is.

    ... were no swimmers and no sunbathers, just people strolling. Craig had been wanting to have a wee for sometime and found a place behind a sand dune but heard voices and stopped. We could not find a public toilet that was open so stopped at a cafe/bar to buy a drink to use the loo. It was about 5pm by now and we decided to stay the night.
