... but who can let such great photo opportunities go by? Haha.
We make it to the top red faced and huffing and puffing. We are proud to have completed the climb. Lunch is made for us by the little supermarket. They make us panini with mortadella and provolone cheese and also salami ones. We also buy cold beer in the supermarket and sit down in the town square under some trees wth some locals and eat our lunch. ...

... SantaTeresa in Sardinia.....about 1 hour.
Santa Teresa is on the on the northern most tip of Sardinia, and the coast. Of Corsica can be seen from this mainland. The town has a population of 5000 but increases this time of the year to 10,000 to 15,000. [PHOTO_ID_R=santa-teresa
We arrived at about 5pm and took a tour of the town centre.
Dinner that night was cod fish pieces and muscles with a cummin sauce and salad.

Thursday 30th July.
We were lucky the captain was able to get us another day in ,Bonifaco as there was a fair bit to see in this ancient town.

... We went for a walk before dinner and climbed the many stairs to the top of the cliff where the town is built. Along the boardwalk there are many shops and restaurants,we started off as a group but the 'men' soon peeled off and found a bar, while Us girls went shopping or browsing!!
Another delicious meal on the boat and some song and dancing later!!

We were given a tour of the engine room of the boat by the Engineer Manwell
It has two giant 12 cylinder Mercedes motors, a giant generator, and a Osmosis water filter converting sea water to drinking water . Quite impressive!!!
Dinner that night was ossco Bucco with cous cous salad, a divine sauce on top!!
