... So the comedy was the policeman speaking Italian to the drunk, the drunk speaking Spanish to Ricky and Ricky speaking English to Lucy. Rita knows more French than English and Noah has been taking French in school. So, at one point we had Alfio saying something in Italian, Rita saying it in French, then Noah giving the translation. Another highlight was receiving a copy of a letter that Guiseppe had written in the 1940s ...

Saying goodbye to Positano was bittersweet. We would love to spend more time here, but more adventures await. Our journey today takes us to the Abruzzo region of Italy via: 1. The bus to Sorrento. Not a bad ride, but taking a bus with all of your luggage? Non buona. 2. Walking to the Avis rental place. ... We had just finished watching Gladiator on the bus so I was quite excited to see it in real life. It was truly amazing!! Such a huge part of history!! The size of it alone was pretty unbelievable. All the ruins underneath the city are visible in places too which is quite cool. You can actually see where Cesar would have walked. The original foundations are about 6 meters below the current ground level. The next morning we set off nice ...

The famous tower that leans! This was only a very quick stop in Pisa to but compete tourists :) we couldn't afford to stay much more than an hour anyway because it costs an insane €200 an hour to park in the car park around the corner from the tower. It was pretty cool to see it but it would not be something that I feel I would ever need to see again. We have been so lucky with the weather it has been absolutely ...
