... br> On Thursday we went up another mountain 2000m in a cable car up to an awesome adventure park. They have all sorts of activities up there including Hiking, Mountain Biking, Rock Climbing, Skiing etc. We went on the highest flying fox in Europe which was great fun, although I am still trying to retrieve my jocks from a category 1 wedgie. There was also a 1km long speed toboggan course which was ridiculously fun. The kids went down together first which they enjoyed ...

    Quiet day in Pella

Pottered about the little town of Pella near to where we are staying. Sat on wooden bench on quayside scoffing a gelato each like oldies do apparently. Delightful. Have now planned next step over the Simplon pass to stay in a small hotel in Chamonix, hoping to see Mont Blanc before the weather closes in. From there working our way back to the channel coast over 4-5 days. All fine and jalopy holding up so far - touch wood. Love to you all again. ...

Forgot to mention dinner last night which was in a waterfront restaurant in Pella, a walk downhill of about 1.5 ...

... you nuts but at least tolls are fairly cheap in Italy. Worth it though for this place. Arrived early and so spent a while in the town of Orta on the east side of the lake, very beautiful indeed and full of Americans with their name tags around their necks, good idea really - see pics. Got strange attack of paranoia after parking car and became convinced that a rather shifty bloke ...

3rd June. Today we are making our way to Siena for a couple of days before making our way to Rome. We arrived at about 10:30 and quickly set up. This site is a lot different from the Florence one as it is literally in the middle of nowhere and about 11 kilometres from Siena and surrounded by trees so all you hear is birdsong. We have planned to do very little today as we did have a hectic time in Florence, together with the fact there was a disco open into the early hours just up ...
