... Como. It was indeed an amazing trip – both from a scenery perspective, and because the bus driver was crazy! It was a full-sized bus, speeding along very narrow roads with traffic in both directions. At times, the bus was literally inches from buildings, trees, street signs, and other cars and trucks. 3rd June. Today we are making our way to Siena for a couple of days before making our way to Rome. We arrived at about 10:30 and quickly set up. This site is a lot different from the Florence one as it is literally in the middle of nowhere and about 11 kilometres from Siena and surrounded by trees so all you hear is birdsong.
