    ... been naughty taking their photo but they were enjoying life so much I couldn't resist. Its been a lovely day and at the moment Kerry is chief chef and has made rissoles without flour, as we have none and has just had to make do with whats in the cupboard. He has done a fine job.     We arrived on time and passed through French customs with barely a glance as usual, followed by a long wait at baggage claim for our bags and bikes but it was far too early to check into our hotel anyway so no harm no foul.     ... the blue. Anyway we put our bikes together and the hotel staff calmed down and we are in the process of getting our rooms.

    ... update more regularly if I don't become alcoholic..
    The idea is to get into Spain today or tomorrow (depending how many beers I have) and get to explore the Basque Country. It's already apparent, the signs are in Spanish here as well and paella is on the menu in most restaurants - mmmmm!

    ... been spotless since the aquaplaning incident. Thought I'd have a look at Cap Ferret at the bay of Arachon. Why? because it sounds cool.. It was very pleasant but whilst looking across the inlet I noticed this almighty mountain of sand! Checked the map and sussed it was the Dune of Pilat. Google it - it's pretty amazing, god knows how it came to be there. While I was there I caught the most magnificent sunset - took pics but haven't done it justice. ...
