Just arrived in our new campsite. Passed a lovely chateaux on the way and called in Bourganeuf for some lunch. Not up to much now so may well order fish and chips made on site for dinner this evening. Very quiet here run by nice English couple. Made our way to Limousin to visit Janet and Ken who live in the most amazing house. We were treated to lunch and then a lovely BBQ in the garden in the evening. How lovely to sleep in a bed too with en suite! Was really nice to catch up and see how they are ...

... room hot and full of mosquitos, but the two other women in the room snored very loudly. I never realized how many people snore until I started this trip. The bed was also quite ancient, and every time I moved a centimeter is creaked and squeaked as if I were jumping up and down. Oof. ... known at the Pilgrim's Trunk. on a large fallen tree, passing pilgrims stuck trinkets ans prayers and notes of encouragement. I read through the livre d'or before continuing. The walk was very enjoyable and I sang aloud as I went. I really need to learn some new songs. I was glad that we made the decision to take the train because I really wanted time to explore Limoges and also Saint Leonard, which was also very beautiful.
