... again time flew and I was just with the babies for a hour and a half. When we got there a little one had woken up and was crying. I picked her up but couldn't work out who she was! Soon I was told she was a new babe. Her mum had left her at the reception desk of a hotel and walked away! She was about three months old, a big girl, and had a little tooth coming through! The flight was better than expected. 11 hours to Doha: a 3 hour stopover and then 6 hours into Barcelona. I do however feel we ate our way half way round the world! 2330 we boarded and once in the air, we were served a hot dinner! Talk about a midnight feast! Snacks were offered to those awake throughout the night and then we were served a full breakfast prior to landing. No bad at all. Usual in flight entertainment.

... to the CEO, and a few phone calls, all it took was to call up the ticketing line... now was an appropriate time for a facepalm.

I also got the impression that Tom would have put me on any flight I could find out of Kathmandu. If there was one that connected through Thailand or China or Paris, he would have put me on it. The only other flight I could find, though, was a 4:30 leaving Kathmandu on Qatar Airways and going through Doha to Philly to Pittsburgh. No ...

... and families. As it was late and I had eaten on my flight, I skipped the offer to use the dinner voucher and went straight to my nice big room and got ready for bed. The room was almost as big as my suite in Udaipur, though not nearly as nice a view. The hotel offered quite a large buffet breakfast with a variety of countries traditional breakfast represented. It seems that the US is one of the few places in the world where a "sweet" breakfast would be considered the norm. ...
