    ... the food is place to place. There were a lot of pork products in Tuscany (they can hunt wild boar there), there was limoncello and pesto everywhere you went, and an abundance of seafood in Cinque Terre (for obvious reasons), and Piemonte was just filled with veal and cheese.     We decided to go tartufo hunting with Marco and his two truffle dogs . Rocco ,a white lab, and a puppy, Dora a poodleX, who was in training !! We just loved it. Traipsing through the oak forest, picking red and white cherries straight off trees and watching the dogs do their "job" tails wagging.

    ... is home to the Holy Shroud , the supposed burial cloth of JC. We found out that the original is never on display and only for certain very special occasions . GUESS WHAT ? ..... They found out we were coming and the REAL shroud was on display (oh slight detail, the Pope was also visiting in same week )

    Not much to say on this, we were both very disappointed with Turin. We felt that we done a lot of driving in the city for nothing really, its not the easiest place to get around.

    The Bed and Breakfast that we stayed in was very nice , very clean and modern, no complaints there, her English was limited, but we were able to understand each other.
