    Just getting acquainted

    ... it was nearly 10am and the hot breakfast section of the buffet closes at 10 so we didn’t get the option of hot food. But we didn’t starve – I had muesli with low fat yoghurt and apple and a platter of fresh fruit salad and Craig had the fruit then some raisin bread – too late for it to be toasted! That’ll teach us!

    We then explored a bit more of the ship and decided we should get our daily exercise. So back ...

    ... and told us how the market vendors are struggling because there has been such a drop in tourists since the hotels significantly raised their prices. Many vendor stalls were no longer part of the market and others closed early each day when the business was so slow. I worry about how those people will make a living. I hope they are not forced to sell plastic owls to tourists! Back in the car after lunch, we keep heading north toward Grand Case Beach - our next ...

    ... near a YMCA we will definitely get a membership. We didn't feel like sleeping in a Wal-Mart again and we had some time to kill so we drove back to our secret little spot in Shark Valley where we had spent my birthday eve.
