... into our room for a nap. We woke up late afternoon still feeling exhausted but determined not to waste one of only two nights we have here in Miami. So we went out for dinner and enjoyed watching all the madness of the world famous Miami Beach bar scene spilling onto the streets. ... travel sanctions were loosened to allow Americans to travel to Cuba as “licensed” travelers. To get a “license,” one must be “engaged in certain specified activities” including “purposeful” travel including religious, cultural, educational and people-to-people travel. But, having no “purposeful” travel in mind, I resigned myself to not visiting Cuba.

That remained the case until the evening ...

... roof to watch Miami Marlins V NY Mets yesterday. I'd taken my Mets cap with me and wondered if that would cause trouble like at footy in the UK but everyone was so friendly. Mets lost! Sushi Samba for dinner. As expected it was divine and super healthy, apart from the beers ;) was excited to taste my first bottle of Cristal...... Shame it was a beer rather than champagne!! The vibe there is so relaxed compared to SS london. Shopping or ...
