I have yet to find a place where I can feel peace like the serenity and calmness of the Medina Haram. This is one of the best places in the world to just sit and reflect on your life and the get away from the pressures and madness of the world.

It is sad how so many people are ignorant of the actual location of the Qabr of Nabi (SAW) and assume the first chamber. The middle chamber where the Qabr is located is clearly marked with an inscription at the top of the gate.

Arrival and clearing luggage at the Madina was easy. It is unfortunate that the few trolleys that were available were commandeered by the porters leaving you with no other option but to to pay their fee.

We hired a minibus for about SR100. Arrival was in the evening, so the drive into Medina gave us spectaclur views for the Haram.

The hotel in Mecca was 5 star and it the drop to 3 star in Medina gave us a ...

... Fajr and went for breakfast at 08:30. Therefter got ready for Jumma and left for the Haram at about 10:30. We usually pray on the first level as the ramp access is easy. We could have left the hotel at 11:00 as there was still a lot of space.

After Jummah Ahmed called to notify us that he was at reception and confirmed that the GMC will collect us at 14:00. This meant the driver had to get in by 11:30 as the Haram roads ...
