After a wonderful breakfast of kiribath (a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast dish) cooked by Asoka, we packed a small bag and headed off to Abu Dhabi. Asoka insisted we take his car, not sure if that was a good idea as I almost had a nervous breakdown trying to direct Frank the last few kilometres to the hotel. Every time we took an exit from the freeway, it just led us to another one! I'm not sure how, but we got there in the end.
... ticket can cost a fortune. Drivers even have to be careful when they see what appears to be a car broken down on the side of the road. Often, it's just a ruse and there's a camera planted inside. Needless to say, we ambled along at a slow speed.
