A very uneventful and boring day of French Auto routes. The only thing worth noting is the appalling standard of French driving! (Not the first time we’ve noticed it either). After 390kms on the outskirts of Tours I turned east for a further 30kms on to Chenonceaux. Every minute I was hoping for the rain to ease only to be disappointed. With no umbrella or raincoat I was in for another soaking to walk the 500m from the carpark to the Chateau.
I was expecting it to be very quiet given the weather but there were people everywhere. All paying their 11 Euros ...

Lovely quiet campsite. Only two other caravans on site. Swimming pool + small mini-golf. Showers/Toilets. Electric hook-ups. Set on edge of forrest. Walks from back of campsite into forrest. Easy access from A20 just south of Chatearoux Junction 14.
