    ... a cab to Garre Paris (the same station we came to via Eurostar). After waiting for 45 minutes (had train station bfast) our train platform was announced and we boarded. Our Eurotrain booth had 2 chairs facing the other 2 all reclined. The train left promptly at 825 am and once clear of Paris accelerated to almost 300 Km/hr!!! I was both excited and amazed.     ... or more probably we are a hazard to them. We are so unused to the phenomenon, that if we are walking where there are no cars, our minds tell us it's safe, but there are designated cycle areas, and we think they take a few liberties too, so it's quite unnerving.     ... Eventually, I made it back to the bike shop and reluctantly returned my DAMaa to the Greek man and told him I would come back for her next time I was there and he said I could reserve her if I gave him enough notice...haha! Yessss!!!
