    Anyway, I'm off to Portugal in the morning. I am presenting a poster a conference in northern Portugal but I am going to Lisbon and southern Portugal before I head to the conference. After Portugal I will be heading back to France to get settled for the semester.

    ... The starters were cold soup with gazpacho (Marcus and me) as well as a courgette quiche (the rest). I actually preferred the quiche. The main courses were either fish of the day or lamb and we all had the latter.     ... place of Paul Cezanne. We learned that the curator of the local museum didn't like his work,so there are few if any pieces of Cezanne's art in his home town. By the time the Curator died, the town could not afford to buy them. We also discovered that Paul's wife was not very attractive, but could sit still for hours at a time.
