... La Corniche (a long stretch of road right by the ocean), and explored other areas. Marseille offers some of the prettiest views I’ve ever seen. It was quite a treat to get out of Paris for a few days and spend it by the ocean. I also forgot how nice it was to have home cooked meals! ... a plethora of seasonal produce and prepared food products. One market was an artisan's market which had unique and interesting goods produced by local and regional artists and artisans. The pictures attached show some of these things.

... The starters were cold soup with gazpacho (Marcus and me) as well as a courgette quiche (the rest). I actually preferred the quiche. The main courses were either fish of the day or lamb and we all had the latter. It came wrapped in pastry with a polenta cake and for dessert thee kids had ice cream, Bryan and I had peach Melba and the older girls had chocolate fondue.
