Today started out a little more exciting. We weren't able to port in Monte Carlo due to 1.5-2 meter swells in the bay. Logan laughed at the 1.5-2 meter swells and then we realized that the cruise would have lost half its passengers getting off the ship in this since we had to take tenders into port. Most were losing, but what struck me was that nobody seemed to be having much fun, win or lose. It was all too intense, or scary, or boring or all of those things together. started our last day in nice getting croissants and coffee from the
bakery under our hotel. Yum! As we were eating it a guy walked in with
his dog. We have seen all over paris and nice that dogs are allowed
anywhere really. In pubs, in restaurants.. Bakeries... Shopping centres,
trains, buses... There are no restrictions!!! Don't worry about the
food regulations at all. Some dogs we see sitting on the counters of
restaurants! Sanitation at its finest.... ...

Today was a great day ~ we started off by taking Cade to the beach, while Mom and Dad shopped and walked around. We rented an umbrella and chairs on the beach ~ Cade met a nice 4 year old boy Noah and I chatted with his mother, a graphic artist from Germany. Then we met up with Mom and Dad for a late lunch. Afterwards, Philippe took us to a lovely art gallery village called Mougins. ...

... keen to head back to the beach in Nice to cool off so that what we eventually did.

My problem I have grown over the months of falling asleep as soon as I get in a moving vehicle became apparent again as I nodded of against the window of the bus. Lucky mum was there to kick me out at our stop. Woops…

Off to the beach we went, followed by a martini and a delicious vegetable fuelled dinner to top off a glorious few days in the south of ...
