          ... looking at because it is so expensive.

          We went into the casino at 11am, bought our tickets and got to see inside the gambling rooms. It seems like an over-rated attraction, but it was a beautiful interior otherwise. The casino was exactly what I expected. Unfortunately we were not aware that the gambling didn't start until 2pm.           ... not a weed or a dead leaf. Strolling through them is a delight. From the gardens we can look down into the harbor with its complement of enormous 'Russian' yachts, including, we are told, the yacht of the 4th richest man in the world.

          Our 'annual meeting' concludes with a banquet, a few jokes, speeches and thanks plus hugs, 'we'll call if we're in...', and 'see you next year in Seattle'. It's been a good time and a fabulous ...

We wandered back down Le Promenade des Anglaise and browsed though the markets before stopping for lunch (pizza and red wine again!).           ... a look in some shops we wandered down to Promenade Des Anglaise and walked along the waterfront. The beach was packed with people enjoying the sun and the lovely water.
