... I soon learnt to look down when exiting the women's :-) Spent most of the day at different areas around the Sanctuary. It really is Disneyland for the religious. ... a walk down to see the pilgrimage to the Grotte where people were filling there bottles with the water and being blessed. There were many souvenir shops all a bit much
At 9pm there is a massive gathering of 1000's that come here lookin for a miracle they march around singing ?

... buildings, in some places, entire villages. Broad plains, much wider than home. Red earth, subsequent quarries, wine region. Lots of wind turbines everywhere. Temperatures went from 17 in Lourdes to 32 north of Madrid. Crossed another range of mountains 100km North Madrid - Sistema Central. Not high but very rocky countryside. Got into Madrid at 4pm. So many apartments on the road in. Can't imagine living with a family ...
