      ... income and these are paid to 3 different institutions. Although in the past I have been scathing of HMRC for their errors and inefficiencies, the system is much simpler. So one has to be determined to live the 'charmed’ life here! The only two sure things in life are death and taxes.

      ... to get to the top. It was his first real mountain climb and he wasn’t disappointed, the scenery was totally awesome with switchbacks through the woods at the bottom of the climb before getting ever steeper and slower before finally reaching the summit at 1490 metres, wow what an achievement! His best ride to date!


      All in all we have had a brilliant few days, and now we are off to do some work!!

      ... headed into L’Hospitalet Andorra, with a view to taking the toll tunnel through the mountains. Fortunately it was closed and we were treated to a magnificent ride over the pass on the N20 and into Spain. Swung through the enclave of Llivia and then continued onto one of our favourite roads from 2005, the N152. This road made photos in Bike Rider mag before we bought the pub, and it didn't disappoint this time.
