My way to Colombo was through Saudi Arabia. Airport Jeddah is spread in the coast of Red Sea. Huge city (definitely not poor) - all covered in lights. ... others. Sometimes when I am about to lose my happiness I let my mind wonder back to those countless encounters and impressions from this journey. My heart widens and fills with great happiness and gratitude.
We may return with empty pockets but we come back with full hearts. We could have bought a Mercedes with the money we spent on these last two years. That car may have at best lasted for ten years. I could have also crashed it ...

Though we wanted to still go out and start exploring the place, we are truly tired from the lengthy travel. So, we just decided to fix our things up, freshen up, grab some food, take some snap shots of course and finally tucked in our beds. Have to make sure to regain some energy for a long day ahead tomorrow.
It was 9 o'clock when the driver came to fetch us and start the journey.

Today I will reserve seats on a boat in the first weekend of October. Lots of new people coming out for the first time as well as seasoned vets like the LA Woman and the Kiwi. It reminds me of my time in the ROK when I was very happy to organize trips for good friends.
