      ... there and are expected to purchase something. As well as masses of farm products they also have loads of wine from 3.50e upwards!!
      We were glad we had electricity as the site is at about 1200m and it was very cold - when we woke up everything was white with frost - glittering in the sunlight ,with the valleys full of mist.

      ... the 12th and 13th centuries. It is a nice church, but nothing as amazing as we have been seeing. We walked around old Beaune and stopped for a couple of beers. On the way back to our hotel, we stopped at an Italian restaurant for some dinner. Tomorrow, we are driving on a couple of wine tours around Beaune. Hopefully we can get some nice pictures of the vineyards in the countryside. ...

      This morning Helen and I set off walking with our French lady friends. Terry and Jane decided to go on today with the bag van man.       ... 6 km off the track. It is a very nice gite that we are sharing with two other very very sweet French ladies. We are waiting for our dinner to be served by the host...       ... and delightful moose. Good French food is spectacular. Simple but special. Tomorrow is a full day of 24 km.. Probably not too steep just gentle undulations... Should be good.. Btw. Weather so far has been perfect . Gentle cool breeze all the way. Sometimes threatening rain but so far never anything more than a drizzle..
