... tasting and I think we'll be having a case show up at our doorstep at the end of the month. The owner gave us a history of the place, which he purchased 12 years ago when he was 55. He runs the place with his son and his wife. After the tasting, we had the best lunch that we have had since we've been here. Pictures will definitely be included at the end of this post. After lunch, Daniel pulled out is guitar and sang a little song to the group - adorable! After saying ...

A 463 km day - It is always hard leaving, but leaving a place that you feel so at home with and have had so many meaningful experiences over the past twenty seven years (wild hiking, mountain biking heaven, travel, trans Pyrenees by bike, Etape - Tour De France, hiking, and motorcycling)? This entry by Tom.

There was widespread panic this morning as it was expected to be hot again like yesterday. Barry left even earlier than he normally does and Mark was on the road before 7am, too. Everyone else left before they usually do, including Dave, Linda and I who were last. Linda had to repair a flat rear tire before we got moving. We decided on he short route today since the long route adds only an extra 5 km and a lookout. We've already done ...

After enjoying a buffet dinner at the resort, and apparently not following their rules by having more than one dessert, we went to bed on the understanding that today would be very hot. On that basis we all decided to head off early. Barry was on the road by 6am and I expect that Mark was not far behind. Werner and Mesfin were away about 7:45am followed by Peter, Sue, Carole ...
