... of Haute-Loire to Lozère. Ira, thank you for your message, and your prayers are working so far!! No bedbugs, and Amr sprays the bed and room each day anyway just as a precaution! ....we are now back from checking out this small town, found a restaurant and booked for 7.30, and now back in the bar of our hotel where the wifi is good. There is a pretty, old church - 1061 - but things were fairly quiet as ...

... late as thought it was 7.30, but heard all the hustle and bustle, so came in time for the entree which was - yes again - lentil salad, and a delicious seafoody terrine. Followed by slabs of fatty pork (I can't remember the name of what it probably is - rather bacon-like) and sausage, with huge and yum roasted potato with a white cheese sauce, then a cheese plate of local cheeses, and a tinned (or not fresh) fruit salad. Quite fun and ...

... 8364;17) and it was superb! Lentils featured a lot as that is another thing Le Puy is known for (Puy lentils), and again these dishes were SO artistic as well as delicious. We both had a lentil salad, with salmon and veg, and Amr had a sausage main and I had veal. Now back, showered, sticks and hats ready to go, bags packed, ready for tomorrow's walk. Meant to be 24 kms, and mostly uphill....hopefully today's MANY steps will have been good ...
