... we hopped on a train to Versailles.When we got to Versailles we grabed a croque monsiuer for lunch. I don't think I'd ever had one before, but they're awesome. ... pretty quickly. It seemed to me that the melody was really complicated, though, and up in a female register that only dogs could hear. Not sure what altos or men would do to sing along, and perhaps that's why I couldn't hear a very strong call and response from the audience in my heathen seats 6 miles back from the altar.
