Our first class weekend trip to Assisi (which also consisted of stops in Perugia and Oestera) was overall an overall success!

On the way to Assisi,we stopped in Perugia for about 4 hours to have a nice sit-down lunch as well as got to explore. We spent the week visiting towns in the area: Sienna, Montelpuciano, Arrezzo, Casteglion del Lago, Guppio....... We ate at ...

When we were on our way to Rome we made a short stop at Assisi. At first I do have to admit I was a bit fustrated. All I wanted to do was get to Rome as soon as possible. I felt like we were wasting our time by stoping at Assisi. Boy was I wrong!

Personally as a catholic, this was one of the most impacting experiences. When ...

Yesterday, January First was a great day with a free morning to catch up on sleep after our New Year's Eve fireworks outing. In the afternoon we toured two special places dedicated to St Anthony of Padua. The first is a church built on the place where died. Pictures will be included. The second is the Basilica of St Anthony. No inside pictures allowed, but there are some of the outside. We had Mass in a beautiful ...
