... We saw relics of St. Anthony ... His vocal chords, part of his tongue, and his teeth and we passed by and go to touch his coffin. The Basilica is absolutely gorgeous. We saw the University of Padua where Galileo was an instructor. It is the second oldest university in Italy. Today we drove to Ravenna and saw a basilica built in 540 AD and a mausoleum built 100 years earlier than that. The churches and other ...

Luckily our hotel was the perfect combination of central enough to walk to everything and still on the outskirts enough to limit the narrow cobblestone driving. I made it in just as it started to get dark and walked around some of the little shops before they close. It's been such a long day that I opted for a shower and nap before dinner. I'm so exhausted I'm opting for watching some movie and then bed. Buona note e baci dalla ...

    ... no fountain.

As I said on FB, I joked with Lare that I would give him $100 if he would pose in the same archway as Edward, unbuttoning his shirt as Edward did. I had to pay up--isn't he fabulous? Total. Keeper. (Even though he doesn't sparkle,)

Hidden underground passageway like the one the Volturi used to skulk down to their palatial lair.

The archway Bella ran through during the parade to get to Edward in time ...
