Le Grand Lodge Mont Tremblant

As I got up this morning and looked outside, the sun was shinning and the sky was blue. Wouldn't it be nice just to drive to the Laurentians today and enjoy this nice weather and see the leaves before they start falling off the trees!.

This time of year, the Laurentians in Quebec offer spectacular views of their mountains richly dressed with multicolour golden leaves. I just couldn't resist the temptation nor didn ...

... la journée et nous sommes partis au parc du Mont Tremblant pour admirer les couleurs de l'automne. Je ne voulais pas rater ça cette année, car l'année dernière quand j'y suis allée, toutes les feuilles étaient tombées!

Aujourd'hui le ciel était quand même très couvert, mais finalement, on n'a pas eu trop de pluie. Bref, on s'en est bien tirés, et on a passé une bonne journée! Et les couleurs étaient superbes!

On a rencontré des cerfs de Virginie, au moins 6, dont deux petits...! C'était trop cool!!! (J'ai toujours une pensée pour Moe et Tho quand je vois des animaux!!). Ne manquez pas les 3 videos!

Et puis après cette belle journée, on est rentrés a Montreal et on a fait quelques photos de nuit au belvédère du Mont Royal.

Bonjour ma famille! It has been a crazy weekend!

The main program ended on Friday, after 5 weeks of immersion. A few friends left for home, but two of my roommates, and a couple friends are staying behind for the last week. ... we set out for a full day of skiing. I was a little cautious at first because I hadn't skied since I took that jump and hurt my knee which landed me on crutches. However, after a little warm up I was racing with adrenaline and screaming down the black diamond slopes. Wow, do I love skiing. I know this is kind of an odd thing to mention but the McDonalds in St Sauveur is worth a visit. I'm not normally a huge fan but this place is not the normal franchise ...

... snow. But we arrive in lovely Mont Tremblant safely. So we checked-in to our hotel but we should have gone to another hotel called Les Johannsen. Day 21 Well today we were up early and enjoying our free breakfast. Straight after lunch we hit the slopes. ... am in the town of St Jovite, part of the Mont Tremblant village area, in the Laurentian mountains. If that doesn't mean much to you, don't worry, it didn't mean much to me either til I got here. Its beautiful. The village is very pretty by dayl with beautiful shops and houses, and at night its like a Christmas tree.
