... our way to le Peuty, passing a heard of cows and our first goats. As the day was supposed to be a pleasant hike (14km, 2500ft) and feeling bad about missing the Fenetre d'Arpette the day before, we bumped into some fellow travellers who said they were heading to the col de Balme as well but rather were going via the Chalet de glacier. ... later, we'd explored every park, sit-upon ride thingy, and smelled every flower (they were gorgeous) to finally arrive at the museum. Each ticket was printed with a particular sport and funnily enough they were so highly appropriate!

Tony got the C-1 paddler, Talia the gymnast, I got the figure skater (perhaps a nod to my dance background..waaaaay back) and Avaia - got the high jumper, BUT if you turned it upside down, it looked like the monkey climbing ...

... happy that I walked the full circuit, taking most of the high routes where there was an option, without using any other mode of transport. That worked well for me. It was not all a stroll in the park but I was happy that I didn't get blisters, hypothermia or lost. I definitely had as many exhausting, as exhilarating, moments.
