End of our week in Couhe
It's been tricky getting an internet connection for the past few days - I'm now working with Chris & Katie's dongle!
Anyway, we finished our week in Couhe with a trip to the 'Velo-Rail' in Confolens on Friday - it was great fun.....little carts on old train tracks which you peddle to move...you will get the drift from the photos (when I get to upload the rest).

Tuesday meant Futuroscope.....a huge theme park north of Poitiers. To spend the whole day there would have necessitated a second mortgage for a group our size, so we opted for the half price offer if you arrived after 5pm. This still gave around 6 hours of activities, as the park is pen til around midnight, with evening 'spectaculars' at 10.15 and 11pm. First day at La Vieille Cure
Katie & Chris arrived from the south, Liz, Sue, Gabby and the youngsters arrived from the west (via La Rochelle airort), and I arrived from the north (via Caen), with the older teens. The logistics were slightly complicated but everything seemed to work rather well.
