We have had a great couple days in the Niagara area visiting Grandma Brown. Last night night we went up the Skylon tower to have dinner and enjoy the lights over the falls. On his birthday it was Hot &Sour soup , peanut butter dumplings, spring rolls and Mu-Shu Peking Duck with Sake. The 18th he was out golfing followed by a supper at the clubhouse in The 19th eat locally - the buffet at ...

Larissa always has Friday off so we usually plan a day out. The sun was out and it was the perfect time to take a drive to the country. We headed to the Eastern Townships for lunch. As I had already eaten at Le Perouse and really enjoyed it I thought it would be a good choice. We both had the the potage followed by the Bavette a l'echellotte with a glass of Merlot. Dessert and ...

... mooring directly outside. This area is considered the nautical capital of the Province of Quebec.

After lunch we went for a walk around the Marina and the canals. We walked to where you catch a ferry to Fort Lennox. Fortifications were first erected here by the French in 1759-1760. Over the years the fortifications have been modified. Stonework buildings and defence landmarks were built from 1819 to 1829 to protect the Colony from an American invasion. ...
