    ... day. It was a beautiful night, no disturbances, and we even went for ice cream! The next day we went through the rest of the locks and bridges peacefully- a much better experience. We relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful waterway. The staff were happy to talk to us, and it is amazing that these locks are all still operated by hand. Often one employee will follow you from one lock or bridge to another. We had to wait for two powerboats to catch up to us so ...
