    Passed through locks 4 - 9 plus many swnig bridges today in the pouring rain, but we were without any traumatic incident. We traveled with the Carrie Rose and the September which was a pleasure. We are enjoying a quiet afternoon with the wifi connection and a Vermont NPR station while on the wall at Saint Jean.

    ... they only took cash. This reminded us we are still not home even though the USA is only 30 miles away!
    As we walked back to the Mutual Fun, we stopped to say hello to her younger sister. Suits Us is a 2003 Mainship with friendly owners Brenda and Gil. We enjoyed a lively conversation on their favorite gathering spot, the upper helm.

    We have done a bit more travelling recently but one thing is for sure one does not have to venture far from home to have a fun filled weekend.
