Today started in a very disappointing way, as we walked in to have our breakfast we were greeted with many hungry people. We found very little juice, no bread or hot food, very little cereal (many eating on plates and with forks due to no bowls or spoons), and one of our tour party clearing tables so many of us could sit down. Apparently having two groups eating close to each other didn't work, and the hotel didn't cope very well. On the plus side our tour director did say as ...

We travel down to the South of France in 2 weeks to visit my Italian cousin (who has 2 girls (more girls!!) ages 3 1/2 and 18 months) who are holidaying near Arles (where Van Gogh lived and painted his famous 'Cafe at Night') and my Aunt who lives near Uzes a really pretty French town not far from Arles.

and so, that's all for now. Keep well. Xxx

We would then have lunch at Le Belena where we met the students from CEFAM and got to learn a ...

... visited all the quaint little villages... Chassagne-montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Mersault, Volnay, Pommard, (south) Nuits-St-Georges, Moray-Saint-Denis, Vosnee-Romane (north) to name a few. Wonderful little villages, with small vignerons operating out of shops or even garages. Each village has a special feel and character about them. We tried to mainly stick to the Routes De Grand Crus, but frankly ...

... actual nursing care. As Karen pointed out, their money might have gone a lot further had they been a little less opulent. But it has withstood time, and actually continues today, in a different location, since 1970. It also has vineyards that financially support it now as it did centuries ago. We then walked through this walled city, center of the larger modern town, to an old and established wine cellar. We really went into ...
