So rushing it a bit I left the house and went 2 days to Les Saintes, 2 cute small islands south Guadeloupe. Sleeping in expensive bed and breakfast wasn't an option so I put my hammock wherever I could hide because free camping is not allowed (yeah it's free so...). Even a giant natural vine swing was available to enjoy! For about two hours we walked around this sanctuary of ...

... in Guadeloupe for Dad would have to be our lunch at Chez Samy Resto Bar! Out driving, we passed a hand painted sign in the shape of a palm tree advertising Chez Samy Resto Bar. Dad remembered reading about Samy’s and suggested we try it. As we bumped up and down from pot hole to pot hole over the rutted dirt road in our little hire car, Daddy advised Mum that he had also read that the road was really, really bad, but that the food was worth it! ...
