Daddy enjoyed his morning stroll to the local boulangerie (bakery) where he selected only the finest croissants, pain au chocolat and baguette for our day. I think it is very special that we have come to Guadeloupe for our holiday. I call Abigail "my little butterfly" and Guadeloupe is referred to as the butterfly island due to the fact that the shape of the main island is like a butterfly. Yes, Guadeloupe is Abigail's special island.

... wasn't a bad omen. They did a double take when we arrived to see several policeman standing in the foyer. Unfortunately, there were no cameras rolling... Our first 24 hours were spent lazing at the beach. I had only been swimming a short time when the first French boy asked if he could have his photo taken with me. (The first of many I hope!)
