... later is a pun on words with the owner's last name Storey - Pretty cool I thought! The company started about 2 years ago and has 2 main guides and 2 vehicles but he is about to expand.
I was greeted by Bruce himself at 8.30 and found out that 2 French girls I’d briefly met the night before were coming on the tour as well. I got to the minibus to meet Adam and Barbara, a young couple from Canada, although he is ...
... suites that movie stars stay in when in town. I saw the room Paris Hilton, etc stay in unbelievable opulence down to the most inhospitable living conditions made for a day to remember. Having seen it I do feel I'll read his book A long walk to freedom even if it is 751 pages long and do feel much more of a connection and understanding of the great man. If only there was somebody to come along to present day Zimbabwe and do something similar. So I ...

Paarl, South Africa basa1126... small bunches of dim lights were small villages in the heart of Africa. I was flying over Africa, and I just pictured deserts and jungles and everything in between. I was flying over everything I had seen on tv or had read about in the news or books. I just sat staring out the window and listening to music and writing in my journal. It was more amazing that I can possibly express. When I arrived in Cape Town airport, a student picked me up and drove me to Stellenbosch.
Stellenbosch, South Africa tamilouise... rope. Fanie ( the beardie) reassured me that it would get easier as more rope was paid out. He showed me how to stand and said that I must keep my ankles below my knees at all times. "Have you ever abseiled before?" he asked, "No, never," was the reply,"So you just had to come and get started on the biggest one.....?", "Yep, pretty much". This was the world's highest commercial abseil. The entire drop was 112 metres on the end of a rope. Going over the edge was easy, I didn't even ...

Stellenbosch, South Africa fmh... settled in the Western Cape and given land as partof a deal that they help to strengthen the wine industry in the area, although most of them had no winemaking knowledge. They soon forgot their French roots, but French names still exist in the area and there is a memorial to the Huguenots at Franshoek. Their arrival, whether or not they had wine-making knowledge did coincide with a sudden bloom in the nascent wine industry of the Cape, and they have never looked back. We ...
Stellenbosch, South Africa fmh... place her in the car myself, as she was too ill to help herself in (the car was a 4x4). Malishwa started to vomit as soon as the car began to move. Vicky stopped at her house in the way to the clinic to get her a bowl for her (as she was showing little to no sign of stopping any time soon). Once we made it to Grabouw, I had to carry Malishwa from the car, into the clinic. I've never been close to anyone this ill before, and now I am carrying them a ...
Grabouw, South Africa lsimpsonSo last night we ended up at Mama africa's like i'd said...everything up to then went according to plan...but that was very much short lived! We ended up having a round of springbok to start off the night (on empty belly's) and then ordered more meat than i think i've ever seen in my life! Caitlin and i shared Game kebabs for starter and then she had a salad and i wisely opted for Springbok steak...DIVINE! i hate using the word orgasmic....so i won't! The boys feasted their hearts out ...
