Birthday reflection
This year sure has been amazing! I can't put into words how fortunate I feel to have such a great life and such wonderful people in it. A reflection of my 25th year! Weather better today - sunny and no wind! B&B still freezing cold, though. Instead of going straight to Franschhoek, we headed north to Tulbagh. This was a bit of a detour, but well worth it. The scenery is stunning, with open plains backed by high mountains. Tulbagh has a very pretty Victorian street, with lots of white historic buildings. Stopped at a Belgian café for coffee and ended up having a superb dish of scallops ...
