... br> First stop was a pharmacy to see if we needed to cut of my foot or what the story was. Turns out I've basically over did it the last few days, and shouldn't be doing sport for a bit. Something about my achilles tendon. So. Drugs swallowed we set off, me taking it easy by only pedalling with one foot. That almost like taking it easy right?
We started off by following the euro bike route 6, which should lead us to ...

NOTHING is open! The only reason we put Mulhouse on our itinerary was the car museum. It was Andrew and Alain's dream to visit this museum, one of the largest car collections in the world. YAWN! So Andrew and Alain headed off this morning to live out their fantasies and the rest of us walked into town to find some breakfast. We ended up at the railway station where we had petit dejeuner.....breakfast. Nothing else was open. Certainly no Sunday morning cafe culture ...

A Nanna nap (donut coma) was called for before we headed out for dinner. Our hotel caters for coach tours and so the restaurant at the hotel was full and very noisy so we opted for the Turkish restaurant across the road....for old times sake!!! Well it was fantastic and refreshingly cheap. ...

... br> Monday we headed back to Heidelberg, Germany to return the bikes and prepare them for storage at Knopf Tours - until our next visit. While hanging out at Knopf’s B&B we had the opportunity to meet several other motorcyclists, one of whom had been on the road for five years, and swap travel stories. We celebrated the end of a wonderful trip with a great meal of favorite German dishes at a local restaurant.

With the onset of more ...

... park by road and 2000ft higher than the village of Orbey, I (Tom) rode to the bike park on the second day, unfortunately when I got there I was informed that I couldn't go on any of the descents as they enforced a full face helmet rule which I didn't have, thankfully France has a large network of VTT routes (Cross Country) and many in this area - I found a Black route ...
