... keep paddling right…..unfortunately I quite often got my right and left mixed up…….i’ve heard it is quite common with females lol but Paul didn’t find it at all amusing, especially when we started going in a circle and headed towards the rapids backwards….ooops!!!


The hours ticked by and still no sign of the cathedral (which we later found out to be a large rock with no name), we passed by a couple of nudist beaches ...

... they were falling off and the chandelier was hanging by a wire. The beds were old gold iron frames; Gabby pulled back the mint green sheet to find black dog hair covering the white linen. It was absolutely disgusting. Gabby worked up the courage to go ask for our money back, she dragged me along for support. The man that was friendly at the desk who spoke perfect english immediately refused to give our money back saying it was impossible ...

Houses are built into the city walls and it would have been a difficult place to attack. We walked the streets which led ever upwards listening to stories of the town.
