The route was supposed to go back down the climb and back to the coastal road, but our guide took the group of us that made it up to the top down the back side, and through the inland country side to Tossa de Mar where we met up with the rest. ... need to navigate, judge the corners ahead, know where they're going and read all the road signs, while the tail bike only has to follow and enjoy the scenery. Of course we immediately went the wrong direction for 30 minutes and had to backtrack, but no worries for the roads were a pleasure to be on and the sun was shining for this stint. We turned around and sped north again... into the fabled land of Andorra. Negotiating customs was ...

... because the gorgeous scent coming from the lavender just can't be described. There were bees everywhere and you can see where the saying 'busy as a bee' comes from. There are heaps of bee boxes placed around the lavender fields and you can find lots of places that sell lavender honey in the area. Wheat is also grown in the region and the purple of the lavender and gold of the wheat look stunning. Bucket list item #1 for the day, CHECK! Rob being the wonderful ...
