... we made our way into the old town and got some good food! A baked potato for Emma as she had been craving for a while now! And a salad for me, at least it was a chicken Caesar salad! After a quick walk we got some icecream again (I know some of you will be seeing a trend) but after a quick walk along the wall of the port to see the big private yachts (motor boats really) Emma actually stated that she was getting a little bit over ice cream.... The French Riviera We are back in France! The French Riviera was unexplored territory for us and we had hoped for some gorgeous weather to complete the picture. We had three wonderful days exploring Nice and nearby Monaco. We arrived the day before practise day at the Monaco Grand Prix and the crowds were out. Nice was very busy and buzzing with tourists. We parked in a multi storey underground parking building (if that's the right name) next to the Casino and wandered around the vicinity.We ate half our lunch sitting on the apex of the Station Hotel hairpin of the Grand Prix track and watched the cars go by - Ferraris and Bentleys seemed to be the most popular choice of the rich and famous - not that we recognised anybody!Monaco is all about being seen. ...
