I got up this morning at 7.30am, showered, dressed and went downstairs to breakfast. Breakfast was good – fresh breads included. After eating i went back up to the room and got ready for the day. I then went back down to the lobby and used the WiFi for a bit, then i left the hostel.

I walked down the main street, heading for the beach. Along the way i meet up with others from the group at some fountains and we walked to the beach together, stopping and looking ...

in October 2013, the local council opened the Promenade du Paillon, a beautiful use of a flood drain designed to safely filter snow melt water out to the sea. ... She was easy to chat to and soom we had made plans for the evening. She had already met some Canadians down stairs and made plans to go to a bar, so I joined them, we also recruited an Alaskan guy (who disappeared after scabbing our leftover pizza). Heading out we went down the main street and came to some interesting statues sitting on the top of some really tall poles and they were glowing different colours.
