... moored in the bay yesterday!

Beaulieu Sur Mer has really steep hills behind the town with some houses perched right on top of the cliffs. It's a very relaxed and friendly town with lots of apartments and holiday makers including Fench, Italian and English. We sat next to some Australians this morning at a cafe who were from Perth and said they come here every year!

We decided to be on the bike by 9.30 for the ride to Cinque Terre. I had my alarm set, but the movements of the other members of my hostel woke up me up early enough that I had time to have a cup of tea.
