We've made it to France! We travelled down to Plymouth last night and stayed in a ropey hotel - very Faulty Towers! After checking in we were both a bit worried about the bikes on top of the car so went out to get them in the pouring rain and kept them in our room. When we got up this morning the rain was still going but we managed to put the bikes back on the car and get to the ferry port without any problems. He makes paper out of either old recycled cotton cloth or hemp fabric. I'd never heard of that before. Followed by Pork (from a Piglet) and home made Frites made from potatoes from the garden and
carrots in an onion sauce. Followed by bread and cheese and strawberry cheesecake
thingy!!! Obviously each course accompanied by a different bottle of wine.
We returned to the hotel and that was it.
