First stop on another big driving day was the historic fishing village of Camaret sur mer. A lovely drive on single lane roads passing through little settlements and villages with houses to the edge of the road and well kept houses with little to distinguish the historic from the old and modern.

We arrived late after a big day of travel. A pretty town rising on both sides from a river with foot and road bridges every 50 meters.
After our delicious lunch we ate light in an upstairs Creperie run by a Mother and son. Just the job, a carafe of wine and a savory and sweet crepe each.
As we were walking about 100 or so runners with head lamps passed us, off on some nighttime endurance run I suspect. Completely mad!

Then we left for the Pointe du Raz - yet another end of land with high cliffs and views of the sea. Certainly Brittany is very much about the sea, seafood. Because there are many river estuaries forming great ports.
Fall is coming to Brittany with leaves turning gold and some with reddish tinges.
