    ... is when in years gone by there were up to sixty. Marc took two years to obtain a consent to rebuild his chalet floor and walls so regulations are as bad there as in NZ.
    From the longdrop toilet to the spouting design, dishwashing facilities I felt like I was back home in NZ in the mountain huts.

    ... calm and just stand or sit around when you go up to them.

    Lunch is served and its delicious, I am lucky enough to have the best view from the table straight out the door overlooking the hills and valley below, I could stay here for a few days and just breath in the fresh air and read a book to just be and relax. There is a problem with wolves here and they are protected in France - farmers are not allowed to kill them and the population is getting out of hand ...

    Bugger it is raining!!! I borrowed Nicolas's coat as the forecast was not so good. Minimum packing and we were off to the Info center to get a map. Over the road to get baguette and bananas before biking to Seyssel on the road which was bloody scary with many big trucks. By the time we got there it had fined up and we arrived at the market where we had a coffee, quiche and amande croissant between us.
