    We packed up in the morning ready to catch a train at 1:40. One of Bruce's friends who lives in Dijon came round to see Bruce and brought with him a friend. It turned out that the lady lived in Melbourne. Small world. We all caught the tram up to the station and had lunch at a cafe nearby until it was time for the train.     Waked the streets of Lyon in the morning. Some very good shopping, however being Sunday, everything was closed in the time we were there. Metro to Gare Part Dieu, then caught the Ter to Meximieur, and from there took the bus to the hilltop village of Perouge.
