... the piece de resistance, boning a whole chicken! Well, there was skin and bone flying everywhere, not deliberately! The whole point was to keep the skin intact, some didn't manage to get the chicken out of the plastic without stabbing it! Hilarious!
we then had to move the various bits of meat around to distribute the dark and white meat evenly, place the stuffing on too, the roll it all up i a parcel of skin,then rolled up ...
... each year called 'la descents de la Lot' which looks like an absolute blast.

dinner was back at Bernard's restaurant, raspberry aperitif, selection of pates, sorbet, the cassoulet we had made on Monday, then cheeses then crepes suzettes which we had to flambé ourselves! Don't worry Delyth. No fire alarms went off!
managed to get to bed quite early, and really lovely not having to negotiate the stairs for a pee!

Made Pastry before leaving for market, pâté sucreé, really difficult to handle, sweet pastry, it was for later
