      ... 10:30 am. We drove through the beautiful landscape of the Voges and "la route des grands Crue" where you find hundreds of vineyards. Lots of chateaus and gorgeous old villages along these roads. We felt like stopping and staying around this area to visit but we have appointments with our friends, so we'll just have to come back here without the caravan and a small tent than we would be here in 5 driving.       Today is wet and drizzle. We leave to day to go to Fontenay.just had brecky...so un exciting croissants,bread,jams,warm tea. We are so spoilt in NZ.! Showers were Luke warm. Quickest shower I ever had!. But I must admit these old buildings are so beautiful. Sleeping in them gives you a sense of what it was like. On the boat now. Had all our instructions issued. Girls have waddled off to do some shopping. Had to buy some yummy eclairs to eat on the way back ...

      This is our hotel room. Small and pokey. All these photos I called " from" is for Plombieres les-Bains.this is where the train took us from Dijon to Plombieres les-Bains. Beautiful old place.       We set off on a 3 and 1/2 week road trip to visit various friends in Europe early on Friday morning, as we had a 9 hour drive to Epinal, in the northeast corner of France.
