... the change we said no! An Auchan shop and then on the Les Erables, an aire with electricity but it was. Loved. However, another tarmac aire within 800 metres with walks the the Cap Blanc Nez, excellent weather for views making a good 4km walk. Settling down for the night, one other motorhome here and all quiet about 12km from ...

      Stella Plage

A travel blog entry by johndibbo on Nov 21, 2014

This is south of Le Touquet Plage! En route yesterday we lunched at Fort Mahon Plage, a huge aire with free water and vid angle facilities but the whole place seemed closed, a ghost town almost! Moved on the Stella Plage, finding our first Beaujolais Nouveau, superb even! Honore Lavigne selected for a gold medal by Jean Luc Pouteau ( described on the ...

No photos as they move too quickly for our ...

The weather was drizzly but still had a very strong wind blowing. We're really glad we are booked on the tunnel and not on a ferry!
We got there early and they offered us the 8.50 train instead of the 9.50 am one. - ...

... as we got between 2 buildings an extra strong gust almost blew us over. In fact a small child walking with his parents was knocked off his feet!!
We got back to the MH for afternoon tea just in time as it started to rain heavily. It rained on and off all night, with the wind blowing a real hooley, even making the MH ...
