    ... side of the road. The roundabouts do your head in a bit. All the French people we have met so far have been wonderful. Helpful and smiling and trying to help which is great. The countryside is delightful with tree lined roads and little villages snuggled into nooks and crannies and there is always the beautiful old church and graveyard to go with it.     On Friday, Veda and Sally had a 3hr horseback riding excursion booked for the morning. The equestrian centre offers beginner outings along the dunes next to the Baie d'Authie.
